Crazy Week

It's Wednesday so we are half through our craziest week of the year. It seems like every year Vacation Bible School and Dance recital week are at the same time. So every morning Derek & the kids are running up to the church and every afternoon/evening Kaylee & I are running to dance costume checks, dress rehersals and performances.

To add a little extra spice in this year's crazy week yesterday morning we discovered that the freezer door was left open overnight so we had to cook 3 roasts and a large round steak. (Everyone denies responsibility for the freezer door- but we have a pretty good idea that it had something to do with a certain six year old sneaking popsicles). But cooking all that food was good. We invited the Timms over for dinner and just took a breather in the middle of the week to enjoy some time with friends. Kaylee's parital dress rehersal last night even ended 45 minutes early (which has never happened before) so that was a real blessing.

Tonight is full dress rehersal. Then peformances Thursday night & Friday night. I'll check back in with pictures later in the week. Probably Saturday, once I catch my breath.
