I can't reach

Tonight Kaylee, Nate, Max & I were piled on my bed watching a movie on the portable DVD player. The battery light started blinking so I asked Nate if he knew where the power cord was. He deflected the issue to Kaylee, asking her to go get it. Kaylee asked "why do I have to get it?" and Max promptly said "Because I can't reach it!" and stretched out his hand and said "ugggg, uggggg". We all started laughing and of course, I got up and went downstairs and got the power cord.
